Fun for the whole family, book a day at Newcastle’s TreeTop Adventure Park and enjoy a range of flying foxes, zip lines, treetop adventures and more! With 96 individual challenges in total spread out over several courses, there’s a day full of adventure amongst the trees for all ages here – with children as young as 3 years old welcome to join in the fun. Courses are divided up by ability level, so those who are hesitant and confident alike will be able to find a fun challenge to suit all tastes, and full, modern safety equipment ensures all participants can enjoy themselves without fear of injury.

Extend your visit by taking advantage of TreeTop Adventure Park’s spacious BBQ area, and bring your lunch along to relax and enjoy in the lovely bushland surrounds located around 1.5 hours’ drive from Sydney in Minmi, just outside Newcastle. Courses

Children aged 3-9

  • Children from the ages of 3 – 9 have their own yellow and orange courses to experience.
  • A continuous belay safety system keeps the children safely attached so they can focus on climbing, swinging, leaping and flying.
  • Adults are required to supervise their children from the ground, as this is a kid’s only experience on the course!

Juniors aged 10-15

  • Juniors aged 10 to 15 can climb on the green, blue and red courses.
  • Juniors must be 10 years or over, at least 1.4 metres tall AND accompanied by an adult on the course. (Maximum 4 Juniors to 1 Adult)
  • After a comprehensive safety briefing and a practice climb you will be ready to work your way through the forest

Juniors aged 16-17 and Adults

  • Juniors aged 16-17 and adults 18+ can climb on the green, blue, red and black courses
  • After a comprehensive safety briefing and a practice climb you will be ready to work your way through the forest
  • 16 and 17 year olds must have an adult over 18 years of age sign their waiver form

Blue, Green and Red Course

  • Juniors and Adults can get into a harness and tackle the challenges on the Blue, Green and Red courses.
  • After a comprehensive safety briefing and a practice climb you will be ready to work your way through the forest.
  • These courses are full of great challenges to get you moving and experiencing the forest as you never have before!
  • The courses progress in difficulty and once you feel the thrill of the 1st flying fox you’ll be keen to move through every course for more.
  • No special knowledge or skills are required to participate in these courses.
  • All Juniors must be 10 years or over, at least 1.4 metres tall AND accompanied by an adult on the course. (Maximum 4 Juniors to 1 Adult)
  • Note to 16 and 17 year olds… Make sure that a person over 18 years of age signs your waiver form, as you are not legally allowed to sign it yourself.

Time

  • The park is open 7 days a week. Closed Christmas Day.
  • You must contact the park to secure your preferred date and book your time. You must allow at least 48 hours’ notice. Your preferred date may not be available, however we will do our best to accommodate you.
  • Last session starts at least 2 hours before closing time.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes prior to allow time for check in.

Location

Travelling from the South

  • Exit from the F3 at the Newcastle Link Rd. Turn left at traffic lights for Minmi exit. Follow this road, turn right at traffic lights onto Minmi Rd. Signs indicate the Blue Gum Hills Regional Park and TreeTop Adventure Park just after the curve on your right.

Travelling from the North

  • At the start of the F3 take the Minmi exit. Follow this road until Minmi, at the first set of traffic lights turn left follow this road until the Blue Gum Hills Regional Park on your right.

Travelling from Newcastle

  • Take link road toward the freeway. Turn right at traffic lights into Minmi. Follow this road until the set of lights and turn right into Minmi Rd. Signs indicate the Blue Gum Hills Regional Park and TreeTop Adventure Park just after the curve on your right.

What To Bring

  • Comfortable fully enclosed toes shoes with rigid soles (no exposed skin below the ankle). NO THONGS. NO TOE SHOES.
  • Your waist should be covered and body-piercings removed or taped over for comfort. Long hair must be tied back and jewellery removed.

Additional Information

  • Children ages of 3 – 9
  • For participants 16+ who would like to undertake our hardest course (black), please make sure you allocate enough time to be able to complete all four courses before the park closes. There will be no refund if all courses are not completed. The black course closes at 3:30pm or 5pm in daylight savings.
  • Smoking, consumption of alcohol and use of drugs are not allowed!

  • You will indicate a preferred date for your climb
  • Upon completion of purchase, you must contact the park to secure your preferred date and book your time. You must allow at least 48 hours’ notice. Your preferred date may not be available, however we will do our best to accommodate you
  • Please print your tour voucher and present on day of the experience
  • Mobile Vouchers are accepted! – Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction.
