DESCRIPTION
Join us for a comfortable overnight journey from Sydney to Thredbo Village. Rest assured, you will have the opportunity to sleep in the vehicle and wake up refreshed for a fun day at Snowy Mountains. We will make a few stops for restroom breaks and snacks along the way. Check out the itinerary below for more details.
Look out for our driver/guide at the designated meeting point; our vehicle will be easily recognizable with the Mate Tours logo.
Itinerary;
10:40 PM Meeting at 812 George Street Haymarket;
It’s time to get to know each other and get you on board for our snow experience.
11:00 PM Departing from Sydney Central;
Now that we have welcomed you, it is time to hit the road towards Thredbo;
1:30 AM Stop over in Goulburn for dinner;
Here we have a 30-minute break for dinner. McDonald’s, Subway and local shops are available for your convenience.
5:00 AM Snow gear hire in Barridale;
It is now time to get our snow equipment sorted. All the gear (snowboard or ski plus boots, pants, jacket and helmet) will be allocated to you as per size and level of experience. *Please, bear in mind, that goggles and gloves, though they are available for purchase, they are not available for hire.
7:30 AM Arrive in Thredbo;
Here we go! You have arrived at the most sought-after snow resort in Australia. It is now time to hit the Alps and/or explore the photogenic surroundings.
*Free shuttle services within the resort running all day. Great opportunity to hop on and off and get to know the local village, pubs, restaurants and some secluded areas.
3:00 PM Depart Thredbo;
Sit back and relax, we will conveniently drive you back.
4:00 PM Barridale;
We will have a brief stopover in Barridale to handle the snow gear back, before stopping for dinner in Goulburn.
7:30 PM Dinner time;
This reflects de same experience, as the night before;
10:00 PM Arrived back in Sydney Central.
