What a cocktail! Ride one of our clean, green fun machines from Caloundra to the historic Roy’s farm to tour a ridgy didge working strawberry packing shed, and sampling the delicious fruit on a grassy hillock overlooking the Pumicestone Passage Marine Park.
The experience starts with a safety briefing on Caloundra’s Bulcock Beach, and in no time your guide will have you handling these powerful fun machines as if you had been riding them for years. On the way up to the Roys, we will get your heart started with a few breathtaking fishtails and donuts before pulling up on a palm tree lined beach. You will be welcomed by local legends Henry and Janette Roy. Their farm was established in the 1920s as Queensland’s biggest citrus farm. It now grows Red Rhapsody strawberries -a variety bred right here on the Sunshine Coast by the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries. We have just 30 minutes on the farm – plenty of time to eat plenty of these deep red beauties. You’ll be on a sugar fed high, when we re-board our skis for the trip home. The hot lap at Lighthouse Reach will take you to a heavenly high.
