DESCRIPTION
This tour starts and finishes in Launceston. 3 Days (2 nights in private camps)
Departs Launceston approx 8.30am Day 1 – Returns Launceston approx 4.30pm Day 3
In three adventurous days, we visit some amazing cool temperate rainforests, wonderful waterfalls and world class beaches. Starting from Launceston we make our way to the Bay of Fires to explore some stunning scenery
A full day is reserved for exploring Freycinet Peninsula’s longer walks where we’ll climb up through the Hazards to view magical Wineglass Bay or walk the whole circuit.
So if you really want to experience the amazing variety of Tasmania’s mild side join us as we stay away from the crowds, enjoy a hike and relax with a camp fire and dinner under the stars…
Each day we participate in walks from 3 – 5 hours and travel by mini van or four-wheel-drive. We have private camps and make delicious meals and dine by the campfire. The roomy tents are large enough to stand in and are located in a range of environments to allow us to appreciate Tasmania’s unique wildlife. Toilet and showers facilities at each site

Day 1 (L, D) Launceston to Bay of Fire – Bay of Fires Bush Camp
Leave Launceston approx 8.00am for the Bay of Fires to explore the rich cultural heritage of the traditional owners in a tranquil setting and some amazing waterfalls set amongst relic cool temperate rainforest. In the afternoon. In the afternoon stroll along some world class beaches
Day 2 (B, L,D) Freycinet peninsula – Private Safari Camp
We will drive down the scenic east coast on dazzling blue waters and white sands exploring coastal towns and beaches along the way. In the evening take in the stunning views from our campsite before enjoying dinner around the campfire.

Day 3 (B, L, D) East Coast to Launceston
As we are camped right on the edge of Freycinet National Park it’s only a short car journey for a memorable day walks with outstanding views as we experience the Wineglass Bay – Hazards beach loop walk and enjoy a great lunch on the beach before completing the loop track. A transfer back to Launceston via Campbell Town will complete your adventure

Snacks and small amounts of alcohol are permitted or can be brought
along the way. Transport, parks passes; camping and cooking equipment is
provided. Sleeping bags and rain jackets available for hire
