This 5 day tour includes the first and last day as transport and transfer days, setting you up for 3 days of extensive fishing for the middle 3 days of the tour.
We use highly skilled and experienced guides over those 3 days to help you have a great fly fishing experience for wild Tasmanian brown trout. We spend all three days on a beautifully managed and long established private trout fishery, that offers three separate lakes, all holding their own unique challenges but have crystal clear waters and prolific insect hatches, giving us the best chance we can to deliver a wide range of fishing experiences with good catch rate opportunities.
Currawong Lakes is the Private Fishery and the luxury retreat bush accommodation is absolutely magic. Set among natural Tasmanian settings, the bush cabins overlook the fishing lakes, roaming dear and hunting sea eagles, providing tranquility and great scenery. The cabins are self contained and all catering is provided (except alcohol). The possibility of some skeet shooting exists for those that are interested.
We collect you from the airport or agreed meeting point early on the first day of the tour, travel to the private fishery, and set you up to fish the following days, provide you with all equipment and catering, settle you into the luxury accommodation where dinner, and breakfasts are provided (included in deal) and repeat on the following days. And on the last day, help you settle out and drop you off at the airport or next location.
