Chandon’s vineyards sparkle with fruit that flourishes in cool climates under the watchful eye of our viticultural leaders. From the revered Green Point Vineyard in the Yarra Valley and our site nestled in the Strathbogie Ranges to our most recent venture in the King Valley, Chandon’s vineyards yield premium fruit with all levels of intensity and concentration.

The Yarra Valley cool climate focus allows SOUMAH to specialise in wine styles and varieties typical to northern Italy as well as south eastern France. Our Hexham vineyard on the Warramate Foothills is the mainstay of production, although we do look for small parcels of premium fruit from other vineyards to bring additional Single Vineyard wines to the market. Our most awarded wines are Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with recent recognition for our Viognier and Syrah as well as a passion for northern Italian varieties of Nebbiolo, Brachetto, Pinot Grigio and Savarro (Savagnin).

Helen and Joey Estate is located in the prestigious Yarra Valley, just 45 km north east of Melbourne. The cool continental climate, paired with substantial average rainfall provide excellent grape growing conditions. The Fernando Vineyard on Spring Lane in Gruyere was purchased in 2010 by Helen and Joey. Since that time much passion, hard work and expertise has gone in to producing premium fruit of all the varieties planted across this stunning 200 acre farm.
