Mount Huxley

Mount Huxley is a mountain located in the West Coast Range in Tasmania, Australia. With an elevation of 926 meters (about 3038 ft) the mountain was named by Professor Charles Gould in honor of Thomas Huxley. The mountain consists of a large 200 meter (about 660 ft) outcrop and rock face on its southern side above the King River Gorge just west of the Crotty Dam parts of which are visible from the West Coast Wilderness Railway.
