Pickering Brook

Pickering Brook is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. It is located within the City of Kalamunda. It was named after Pickering Brook, which is named after an early settler, Captain Edward Picking. The suburb was officially created in 1973. It is primarily made up of various family-run orchards. It was threatened by a bushfire in 2001, but was saved by the efforts of the local fire brigade. In 2008, the previously named Pickering Brook National Park was renamed Korung National Park.
