Visit the historic towns of Beechworth and Yackandanah, cycle the paved Murray to Mountains Rail Trail, enjoy special wine tastings, farm gate visits & superb award winning restaurants. Day 1: Arrive BeechworthArrive anytime on your first day, and check into your accommodation (centrally located B&B style property). There is no cycling on your arrival day so enjoy Beechworth’s ambiance before meeting your group at your first included meal this evening, D
Day 2: Cycling to Yackandandah
Today we cycle the new trail extension to the lovely town of Yackandandah (25km), where we enjoy a visit to a local gin distillery followed by lunch, enjoy some time in the town before we transfer back to Beechworth for the evening where you have a free night to try one of the many local restaurants. Day 3 – Cycle to Milawa
Today cycle to the gourmet hub of Milawa (35kms). Enjoy a tasting @ Milawa Cheese, followed by a platter style Lunch @ nearby winery. Tonight stay at the Lancemore Milawa and enjoy a 2 Course Dinner. B,L,D
Day 4 – Cycle to Myrtleford
Cycle to Myrtleford (45kms). Lunch at Gapsted with an exclusive food/wine pairing. Stay at stunning hillside Panoramia Villas with amazing views of the Victoria Alps and down the Alpine Valley. Enjoy dinner in the town tonight. B,L,D
Day 5 – Cycle to Bright
Cycle to Bright (30kms) on the Rail Trail under majestic mountain scenery, visit a Pumpkin Seed Farm before lunch @ beautiful Ringer Reef Winery. Arriving into picturesque Bright, enjoy time to explore some of the many offerings from breweries to whisky bars. Dinner at your leisure tonight. B,L.
Day 6 – Cycle to Harrietville + Bright
Today we have a the option of cycling the new extension to Harrietville, this is a lovely part of the trail and perfect opportunity for a well earned lunch at the end of the ride. We share a final group dinner in Bright to celebrate our riding achievements. B,D.
Day 7 – Onward Transfers
Transfer to back to Beechworht, Albury for onward flights or Wangaratta for onward train services to Sydney or Melbourne. B.
