It’s easy for dive skills to become a bit rusty if you have not dived in a while. To avoid loosing confidence as a diver, an SSI Scuba Skills Update (refresher session) provides you with the opportunity to review and practice necessary scuba skills under the guidance of an SSI Dive Professional. These aren’t new skills, they are the same ones that you learned in your original Open Water Diver program. It’s an opportunity to practice and review them with an instructor.
This is a great course to take just before a dive holiday, so you spend less time worrying about your skills and more time admiring the marine life. It’s highly recommended for anyone looking to dive the Yongala, and also great for those simply wanting to get back into the wonderful world of diving after an absence from the sport. The Scuba Skills Update may also be required for continuing your diving training, if you haven’t dived for a while.
