Arrive in Hobart Airport before 12pm on any Thursday to start your Tasmania journey! You will be met at the airport arrivals area by your driver for your private transfer to your accommodation. Enjoy a Beer and Whisky afternoon with more behind the scenes tours of process, tastings and relaxation at the breweries and distilleries we visit, either way, there’s something for everyone on this tour.
Bruny Island Traveler is a full-day tour of Bruny Island, exploring spectacular landscapes and gourmet local produce. This is a delicious day out where every course on the menu is a stop on your journey. You’ll visit the home of Bruny Island’s cheese, oysters, fudge, berries, wine, beer and whisky to savour their produce and hear the stories behind the harvest. At every stop, we sit back, relax and enjoy a fully inclusive experience. Throughout the day you’ll see incredible scenery. Take a stroll and leave your footprints in the sand of a deserted beach. The light bush of the northern island gives way to the dense rainforest of the south – this pristine wilderness is home to diverse wildlife including rare white wallabies.
Saturday AM –
Explore Salamanca today! Stroll from your accommodation to the Salamanca Market. This iconic Saturday tradition brings Hobart’s waterfront alive with a celebration of the senses. In a vibrant atmosphere of cultural commerce, over 300 stallholders line the street from sunrise where locally crafted products include Tasmanian timber treasures and homewares, unique clothing and jewellery, fresh and seasonal produce, artwork, leather goods, soaps and skincare, artisan cheeses, bread, wines and spirits as well as tasty ‘on the go’ eats.
Saturday PM –
Be picked up from Freycinet Lodge then meander our way through Freycinet national park to a secluded long white sandy beach located deep within the park itself. Take off your shoes and stroll the beach or explore the granite boulders while your personal chef sets up an outdoor dining arrangement before cooking your menu to your liking. Complete with east coast Tasmanian wines, craft beers and three-course meal designed around seasonal produce, this is truly a romantic or a friendly atmosphere to be enjoyed.
Wineglass Bay Cruise (AM) –
This morning, experience an unforgettable 4-hour cruise to Wineglass Bay taking in the sights and history of the Freycinet Peninsula. You cruise from the gentle shores of Coles Bay to one of the world’s most beautiful beaches, stopping for lunch at Wineglass Bay to enjoy some of Tasmania’s finest fresh produce. The scenery is stunning, the wildlife abundant, and you will experience a rare, intimate outlook on one of Tasmania’s most extraordinary places.
Transport: Picked up from the Freycinet Lodge jetty
4×4 Gourmet Tour (PM) –
Get off the beaten track and see the places locals know and love. Take in stunning views of east coast Tasmania’s extraordinary natural wonders, interact with local wildlife and enjoy the regional flavours of Tasmanian wine, craft beer and fresh produce prepared by your very own personal chef. Be pick up for your tour of Freycinet National Park and discover the hidden spots that only the locals know about. Enjoy the scenic drive back down the coast stopping at coastal towns and historic sites on the way as you make your way to Hobart Airport. Here you will return the car and from here, we are predicting you make a sad departure.
