The next stop on the agenda is the popular Port Arthur Historic Site. Here you will be give around 4 hours to explore the grounds and learn about the rich history of the site with the help of one of the Site’s expert guides. You can wander around the ruins, admire the views and jump aboard a cruise to the Isle of the Dead, which was the burial place for inmates. Come time to leave the Port Arthur Historic Site, you’ll travel towards Richmond Village for a short stop. Here, you’ll be able to walk across Australia’s oldest bridge that’s still in use today and is believed to be haunted, as well as exploring the historic streets of this popular township. Following your visit to Richmond, you’ll enjoy one final stop before the conclusion of the tour. You’ll be taken to a local lookout for spectacular views of Hobart and Mount Wellington as the sun sets on yet another beautiful day in Tasmania.

This tour is action packed and fast paced, so we make an early start from Hobart and drive directly to the stunning Tasman Peninsula. Begin one of Tasmania’s “Great Short Walks”. Follow a spectacular track, of around 2 km’s along the Waterfall Bay cliff top. The walk takes around 45-60 minutes, is undulating, but categorised as an easy walk. The track concludes at the remarkable rock formations of Tasman Arch and Devil’s Kitchen.
