Stop At: Bondi Beach, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Sydney, New South Wales 2026 Australia
Enjoy the vibrancy of Australia’s most famous beach when we stroll along the boardwalk.
Bondi lads working on their physique at an outdoor gym will first be seen and in the middle of the beach is the Bondi Pavillion.
The recently restored pavillion provides a wonderful open sense of space with breezy courtyards, a redesigned light filled atrium, and widespread use of locally occurring coastal plants.
The many arches remain and the continued use of terracotta tiles is consistent with the Mediterranean style of the pavillion.
As we head further south along the promenade it is hard not to be impressed with street and contemporary art murals located on the sea wall.
At the southern end of the beach we ascend the stairs and meet at the top deck. Time now to have a look at another local icon, the Bondi Icebergs.
The popular icebergs pool is a 50 metre salt water pool that was constructed in 1929 to assist with the fitness of local lifesavers.
