Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Day – Airport Transfer & Hostel Hangs
Stop At: Sydney, Sydney, New South Wales
You’ve arrived – welcome to Sydney!
You will meet your guide, and the legendary group of travellers you’ll be sharing this experience with, on Monday. This means that you need to be in Sydney on Sunday night.
No matter what time or day you arrive, your airport transfer will take you to the hostel where you can relax before an epic week ahead.
And there’s no better place to relax than the rooftop of the hostel we’ll be taking you to. With the best hostel views in the world, Sydney Harbour YHA is the perfect place to start your Australia adventure.
Sunday night is the first night of accommodation that is included as part of the tour. If you need any extra nights however, just let us know and we’ll be happy to sort it out for you!

Day 2: Monday – City Stroll & Family Dinner
Stop At: The Rocks, Sydney, New South Wales 2000 Australia
Today, you’ll get to meet your guide and the legendary travel fam you’ll be sharing this experience with! After getting to know each other, we’ll get your bank account, sim card and Tax File Number set up for you so that you can explore stress-free for the rest of the tour.
Taking you through the city on foot, we’ll then show you why Sydney is such an iconic and charismatic city, and why travellers absolutely love it. Your camera roll will be full of epic photos, and your friends back home will be wishing they were with you!
We’ll end our first day together with a nice Welcome Dinner at one of Sydney’s most iconic venues…

Day 3: Tuesday – Culture, Cocktails & Hidden Gems
Stop At: Sydney, Sydney, New South Wales
Sure, travelling is about seeing the icons, but we also want you to experience the lesser known, underrated places too.
Australia is home to the world’s oldest continuous civilisation, so we’ll spend the morning learning all about it with our own private, insightful Aboriginal Cultural Tour.
After taking a good look at the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, we’ll explore suburbs that the locals can’t get enough of. How, do you ask? Well firstly by embracing Sydney’s bar scene with a private cocktail making class! By the end of it, you’ll be hungry so we’ll go on to treat you to dinner at a place that only locals know, where you can try food from a wide range of delicious cuisines!

Day 4: Wednesday – Road Tripping, Surfing & Sunsetting
Stop At: Gerroa, Gerroa, Kiama Municipality, New South Wales
Today, we’re going on a road trip of a lifetime! After passing through Australia’s first National Park, you’ll witness some amazing lookouts and incredibly scenic coastline as we drive along the Sea Cliff Bridge to our destination, Surf Camp!
After lunch, we’ll get ready for an afternoon surf lesson. Ah, what a good feeling! While we’re all still sunkissed with salt water in our hair, we’ll have dinner and talk about who was the best in the water!

Day 5: Thursday – Wildlife and the Whitest Sand in the World
Stop At: Jervis Bay, Jervis Bay, Shoalhaven, New South Wales
It’s been a great week so far, but today will be next level.
After breakfast at the surf camp, we’ll be back on the road. This morning’s destination is the stunning Jervis Bay area, famous for a couple of things.
Firstly, dolphins! Yes that’s right, you’ll be spending the morning on a boat watching these beautiful creatures jump alongside you, all whilst you take in the beauty of the Bay area.
Secondly, Jervis Bay is also famous for having the whitest sand in the world (literally), so guess what you’re doing in the afternoon? That’s right, you’ll be spending some time on a beautiful beach, playing some beach games and going for dips in the water. Fun group vibes guaranteed.

Day 6: Friday – Work & Travel Help and Bondi Beach
Stop At: Bondi Beach, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Sydney, New South Wales 2026 Australia
Now it’s time for some adulting. Today’s about sorting out what’s next on your Australian adventure. Do you want to travel up the East Coast? Watch the night stars in the Outback? Start farm work straight away? We’ll have a presentation on employment, followed by another on travel, making sure to cover everything you need to know to make the most of your time in Australia.
Once we’ve finished, it’s back to doing what we do best – ticking that Aussie bucket list. Next stop, the iconic Bondi Beach! You’ll have the whole afternoon to explore, sunbathe and swim!

Day 7: Saturday – Your Work and Travel Help By Day, Bar Crawl By Night

It’s time for our 1-on-1 work and travel sessions! After taking in the presentations from yesterday, today is your chance to ask all of your questions. We know every traveller is different, so that’s why you’ll sit down with one of our work and travel experts so they can help put together your perfect personalised Australian adventure.
By the end of your session, you will be feeling more confident and even more excited about what you’re doing next. It’s time to celebrate. How? with a Bar Craw! Some snacks and drinks will be provided of course 🙂

Day 8: Sunday – Rooftop BBQ and Family Goodbyes
Stop At: Sydney, Sydney, New South Wales
Sunday’s all about taking it easy, and looking back fondly on the best week eer. You’ve gone out of your comfort zone, you’ve seen and experienced new things, you’ve got amazing memories but most importantly, you’ve now got friends for life and a new travel family. We’ll fire up the barbecue and enjoy Sydney’s impressive skyline for one last time as a family, while we reflect on how amazing this city is and how much better it was to experience it all together.
