Our friendly skipper during your briefing will check in with you to find out if there is a certain beach you want to visit for your picnic or based on local knowledge you’ll receive some recommendations based on the conditions of the day. E.g. during the wet season, Huntingfield Bay may be a great option as the waterfall may be running or if you’re wanting to do some snorkelling and the wind conditions are suitable, Florence or Arthur Bay may be your best beach. There are around eight to ten beaches to choose from, so there’ll be the perfect one for you.
On your way to and from your picnic, the skipper will be showing you the highlights of the Magnetic Island coastline and spotting some of the local wildlife for you too. Some of the things you may see are our famous wreck, the SS City of Adelaide, Orchard Rocks, turtles, kites, sea eagles and some stunning reef fish.
