DESCRIPTION
Participants will learn the basic principals of cheesemaking, including hygiene and sanitation procedures. You will pasteurise fresh milk direct from Ros’s farm then make a beautiful camembert, quarg and mascarpone. Cheese tastings will be provided, and at the end of the day you will take home your own cheese to nurture and consume at your leisure.
A shared lunch platter, wine tasting and your
choice of a glass of wine to enjoy with lunch will be included.
Your teacher Ros Garstone is a mother, dairy farmer and teacher with a passion for making cheese.
