Make the heavenly Whitsundays your home on this 4 day/3 night sailing adventure from Airlie Beach with accommodation, activities and meals prepared by your fun sailing crew. Australia’s favourite beach is all yours for an entire day as you enjoy the white silica sands of Whitehaven Beach and Hill Lookout for a day of leisure.
Relax and unwind over the remaining three days as an itinerary of bushwalks, island stops and snorkelling at fringing coral reefs are on the agenda. You also have the opportunity to sail out to visit and snorkel the pristine outer Great Barrier Reef (if the weather permits). The exclusive benefit of joining this multi-day sailing adventure are the extraordinary sunrises, sunsets and stargazing opportunities that most travellers will never get to witness on day tours to the Whitsundays.
Sleep in your dormitory style accommodation below the deck or on deck under the stars for a once in a lifetime experience in the Whitsundays. All you need to bring is your clothing, swimwear and BYO alcohol drinks if you prefer a nightcap or two.

Example Itinerary
- There is no set itinerary for this tour. Each trip will be planned around the weather conditions, tides and the groups desires. Below is a list of what we could offer and where we could go. Please note that we will always visit Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet Lookout, bush-walks, multiple snorkelling locations and of course do lots of sailing.
- Lots of sailing and match-racing between the Prosail maxi yachts.
- Up to 6 snorkel sites – we choose the best site and timings based on the weather and tides (Blue Pearl Bay, Cockatoo Point, Black Island, Langford Reef, Caves Cove, Butterfly Bay, Luncheon Bay, Manta Ray Bay, Mackerel Bay, Peters Bay, Saba Bay, Cateran Bay)
- Visit and snorkel the outer Great Barrier Reef (weather permitting)
- Explore both the North and the South end of Whitehaven Beach, visiting two different lookouts and enjoying all 7km of silica sands (Hill Inlet Lookout & South Whitehaven Lookout)
- Multiple bush-walk locations ranging from 20 minutes to 3 hours (The Cairn, Whitsunday Peak, Border Island, Chance Bay to South Whitehaven, Chalkie’s Lookout, Hill Inlet Lookout, Nara Inlet Trail, Hayman Island Track, Passage Peak, South Molle Island)
- Sunset beach hangs (Langford Island Sand Spit, Scrubhen Beach, Chalkie’s Beach)
- In the evenings, chill on deck with our crew and your new mates, have a few drinks, stargaze and then let the calm water gently rock you to sleep.

- Departs on selected days at 10am and returns on the fourth day at approximately 3.30pm
- All passengers are required to reconfirm their trip (via email or phone) and complete the waiver at least 48 hours prior to departure

- We can cater for most diet requirements – please inform us of any diet requirements at time of booking. Please note that there are limited diet alternatives to the desserts (which include diary and gluten) and this menu can change due to availability of ingredients.
Day 1
- Morning Snack – Fresh fruit platter Lunch – Bread rolls served with deli ham, cheese, and a selection of salad Afternoon Snack – Sunset platter with cheese, crudites, crackers & dips Dinner – Roast chicken and stuffing served with creamy mashed potato, steamed vegetables, gravy and stone-baked bread Evening – Tea, coffee & hot chocolate served with chocolate fudge brownie
Day 2
- Breakfast – Selection of cereals, yoghurt, fruit salad & bread with a selection of spreads, all served with tea & coffee Morning Snack – Tea, coffee & hot chocolate served with fresh fruit & muffins Lunch – Chicken skewers served with a potato salad, Greek salad and stone-baked bread Afternoon Snack – Cheesy nachos served with salsa, sour cream and sweet chilli Dinner – Beef burritos – Build your own with tortillas, salad, sour cream, cheese and guacamole * Evening – Tea, coffee & hot chocolate with cheesecake
Day 3
- Breakfast – Pancakes, selection of cereals, yoghurt, fruit salad & bread with a selection of spreads, all served with tea & coffee Morning Snack – Tea, coffee & hot chocolate served with fresh fruit & lamingtons Lunch – BBQ burgers served with bread rolls, cheese and a selection of salad Afternoon Snack – Sunset platter with cheese, crudites, crackers & dips Dinner – Fish & vegetable curry with rice and stone-baked bread * Evening – Tea, coffee & hot chocolate served with apple pie and custard
Day 4
- Breakfast – Hot breakfast – Bacon & scrambled eggs with stone-baked bread served with tea & coffee (Selection of cereals and fresh fruit also available) Morning Snack – Tea, coffee & hot chocolate served with fresh fruit & banana bread Lunch – Thai chicken noodle salad
What To Bring
- You can store luggage at most accommodation locations or at the Red Cat Adventures shop in Airlie Beach for a small fee if needed
- Enough clothes for the duration of your charter, comfortable footwear for bushwalks, swimwear, towel(s), hat, sunscreen, drink bottle (we have a filtered water tap on each boat), something warm (for the winter months) and a light jacket can come in handy (even in the summer months)
- Bring Your Own (BYO) alcohol – no glass or red wine please! We have big eskies with ice to store your drinks in. We also sell cans of soft drinks on-board
- Camera, GoPro, phone (mainly just for photos as you won’t get much reception out there).
- Your unique self and sense of adventure!
Terms And Conditions
- These tours are perfect for adventurous singles, couples and groups normally aged between 18-45. There is no age limit, however you must be ‘young at heart’, fit and able to move about a boat unassisted and understand the adventurous and social nature of our tours. Some under 18’s may be accepted on board by request
- All guests must be able to move freely about a boat unassisted.
- We reserve the right to substitute vessels without notice at any time for any reason.
- All charters are subject to weather and the vessel operator’s discretion.
- We recommend you take out travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss of personal goods and the inability to travel due to weather or any other unforeseen circumstances. This is an adventure product and clients should note that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard guests, we cannot be responsible for any damage, personal injury or loss due to the actions of passengers that are beyond our control.
- If travelling to Airlie Beach by road, please allow extra time to travel during the wet season (Dec-May) as we occasionally have road closures due to flooding.
- At certain times of the year, rare but ‘dangerous’ jellyfish inhabit these waters and passengers should take care for their own safety. Passengers entering the water do so at their own risk and the owner of the vessel will not be liable for any personal injury, illness, death or any other consequences whatsoever of passengers being stung by jellyfish. To minimise this risk, you will be provided with a full-length protective ‘Snorkel Suit’ to wear whilst swimming and snorkelling during the tour.
- Prosail shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any injury to person or property which is suffered or sustained by any passenger as a result of participating in any of its sailing adventures, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
- If you choose to leave a Prosail tour at any stage of your own choice, Prosail will no longer be held accountable for your persons or belongings.
Cancellation Policy
- SPECIAL COVID-19 CANCELLATION POLICY: If any passenger cannot make the tour departure date due to Government travel restrictions surrounding COVID-19, Prosail will issue a tour credit. Please inform Prosail as soon as you are aware that you cannot make the tour. Proof of travel restriction on the tour departure date will need to be supplied.
- Prosail will offer other options, a credit or refund for any cancelled departures due to low numbers or unsafe weather
- For any other cancellations or changes: Cancellations made less than 7 days before departure will result in complete forfeiture of the full price. Cancellations made outside of 7 days before departure will incur no fee. Any date changes can be accepted without a fee up to 7 days prior to departure. Please note that the 7 day cancellation policy will always be calculated from original departure date.
