DESCRIPTION
Explore Maria Island National Park from the air on an unforgettable 60 minute scenic flight with views of Wineglass Bay and the Freycinet Peninsula. Departing from Friendly Beaches, passengers are set to be dazzled by the colour palette illuminated from the skies above. Tracking south towards the Freycinet Peninsula, have the camera ready as you pass over lagoons and Tourville Lighthouse before the iconic Hazards and Wineglass Bay come into full view.
Take a moment to absorb Mother Nature’s beauty as the scenic flight tracks south along the rugged coastline to Maria Island, a former convict settlement now an adventure’s paradise and a haven for wildlife. From the west side of the peninsula, guests will be treated to views of the sandstone cliffs and white sandy beaches only accessible by boat or hiking trails before concluding the flight back to the airfield over Wineglass and Coles Bay.
