The Wild Night Out nocturnal experience at the Australian Wildlife Sanctuary is perfect and unique for your next wildlife encounter. Gift your children, family or friends with an unforgettable experience, packed with beautiful native wildlife, wonder and fun on this unique nocturnal tour.
What your experience will look like:
A personalised nocturnal tour with one of our rangers where you will be able to get up close and personal with pythons, crocodiles, potoroos, gliders, possums, bettongs, pademelons, bandicoots, quokkas, frogmouths, curlews and many other animals.
This is an immersive experience where you will be encouraged to ask as many questions as you like during your experience, whether it be about our work with conservation, animal welfare ethics, future plans, heritage significance of the sanctuary, and what you can do to help wildlife, you will be guided by a dedicated ranger to answer these questions.
Your experience also includes a nocturnal tour of our Woodland’s sanctuary where you will see wallabies, quokkas, birds and wombats. You will also be able to visit our gift shop or purchase a drink and ice cream after your experience.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Location: The sanctuary is located at 3105 Remembrance Driveway Bargo NSW 2574 which is between Sydney and the Southern Highlands and not far from the Illawarra Region meaning it won’t take long to get here.
Duration: This experience runs for 2 hours and is filled with conservation and wildlife information.
Availability of experiences: as per booking calendar
Animal Welfare: The sanctuary is home to a wide range of native animals; we have a strict animal welfare policy and cannot guarantee that animals will always participate in this experience.
Participant Safety: The safety of our guests is important to us, and it is a requirement that suitable clothing be worn including enclosed footwear to participate in this experience. If there are certain animals that you aren’t comfortable to encounter, please let your ranger know on the day of your experience.
Ages: This experience is most suitable for 4 years and older. All children must be comfortable in the presence of animals.
Minimum Booking: There is no minimum, however this is not an exclusive experience there will be other people in your group.
Postponing/Rescheduling: In some cases which may be due to severe weather or circumstances out of our control, we may need to postpone and reschedule your experience.
Refund Policy: We will always endeavour to reschedule your experience; in some circumstances we may provide a full refund if 24 hours’ notice is given before the time of your experience. If you cancel within 24 hours of your experience, we only offer rescheduling of the experience
Accessibility: This experience may not be suitable for wheelchairs, walking aids, or people with compromised mobility. Please contact us for more information if required.
Carers/Concessions: The sanctuary currently does not offer general admission and operate booked experiences only therefore we cannot offer concessional rates or complimentary participation for carers in these experiences. Please contact us for more information if required.
