DESCRIPTION
Escape to Fitzroy Island for an unforgettable afternoon on a tropical island with return ferry transfers from Cairns and up to 3.5 hours to spend as you please. Departing from Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal you’ll enjoy a short 45 minute cruise on an air-conditioned catamaran before arriving at Fitzroy Island.
Boasting a lush tropical landscape with rainforest trails, granite outcrops and coral beaches, there is so much to explore here on Fitzroy Island. Take a moment to enjoy a tranquil self-guided walk in the rainforest or throw down a towel and head out for a swim on one of the secluded beaches. Snorkelling gear, kayaks and stand up paddleboards are also available for hire on the island if you wish to explore the fringing coral reefs surrounding the island. Following an afternoon of adventure, you’ll return to Cairns at approximately 5pm.
