DESCRIPTION
PADI Open Water Course
PADI open water course will provide you with the knowledge and skills you’ll need to safely visit the underwater world. You’ll have fun as your instructor prepares you for the excitement of entry level diving activities in your local area.
The PADI Open Water Course is divided into three segments.
Academic training – Gives you the basic principles and knowledge you need for safe and enjoyable diving.
Confined water training – Will teach you the basic skills of diving.
Open Water training – Allows you to demonstrate your skills and practice them in a typical diving environment.
Prerequisites
10 years of age or older
Completion of a diving medical statement
Certification
Upon successful completion of this course you will be awarded:
PADI Open Water eBook
PADI Certification eCard
PADI eLogbook
Enabling you to dive anywhere throughout the world to depth down to a maximum of 18 metres, hire equipment from dive stores, with the certification valid for life.
Duration
Three days with approximately six hours per day.

All courses have an extra cost of $95 for PADI e-book, PADI Certification eCard and registration to pay on your first day.
All courses commence onboard our FLOATING DIVE SHOP.
How to get to us?
We recommend that customers make their own way to our dive shop at Main Beach so that they will have time to explore the Marina, shops, and local area after their dive or snorkel.
Our Dive shop is a 5 min Uber ride from Surfers Paradise, the local bus stops at the marina and we have a free car park for customers who are driving.
We can provide return transfers from select Surfers Paradise hotels (call 07 5526 7722 to find locations), please be aware that seats are limited.

A minimum of 24hours notice is required for reschedules and 48 hours for cancellations. No refunds for late cancellations or ‘no-shows’.
Once you have commenced this course, you have 12 months to complete the course.
