Stop At: Fremantle WA 6160, Australia
The wonderfully colourful streets of Fremantle, Western Australia’s oldest port city, play host to the Fremantle International Street Arts Festival each year.
Each year over the Easter long weekend, the streets of Fremantle are transformed into an open-air theatre of the amazing, weird and wacky. Entertainment centres around several major ‘pitches’ or performance locations and roving performers pop up in surprising and interesting places all across the City.
On this walking tour, your guide will take you to the heart of the action, starting with a spontaneous meet and greet as performers leave their preparation areas, visiting some of Fremantle’s most iconic street art installations and regaling guests with stories of infamous moments of the festival.
The tour will offer an extraordinary insight into the inner workings of the festival with the tour finishing at Fremantle’s newest intimate venue with refreshments and VIP access to a world-class street theatre performance.
