DESCRIPTION
We are excited to announce that AAT offers one of the world’s leading suicide intervention training programs – Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).
The course is delivered over 2 consecutive days.
ASIST is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first aid. It teaches participants to recognize when someone may have thoughts of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety.
ASIST is suitable for anyone who wants to be able to provide suicide first aid, regardless of prior experience. ASIST is particularly helpful for people who work in roles caring for people or professionals such as healthcare workers, support worker, teachers, employment providers & work health and safety personnel.
