Discover one of the Top End’s most beautiful attractions near Katherine, Nitmiluk National Park on this day tour from Darwin. Spanning over 292,000 hectares, the amazing Nitmiluk National Park features the Katherine Gorge (Nitmiluk) and Edith Falls (Leliyn).
Heading out of Darwin you’ll be collected from your hotel and travel along the famous Stuart Highway through the townships of Adelaide River and Pine Creek towards Katherine. Take in the unlimited flora and fauna as your guide provides you with historical and cultural commentary throughout your journey.
Arriving in Nitmiluk, you’ll embark on a two hour NitNit dreaming Katherine Gorge boat tour cruising past rugged, towering cliffs. Learn about the authentic culture and stories of the traditional owners of the land, the Jawoyn people of Katherine as you are guided through this wonderful area. Following the Katherine Gorge Cruise, disembark and head to Edith Falls for a refreshing dip in the huge, natural plunge pools.

What To Bring
- Please dress for the weather conditions on the day. Comfortable walking shoes (tread closed-toe shoes), 2L Refillable water bottle, a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses & sunscreen, Swimwear & beach towel, all-weather comfortable light clothing and a small day bag is recommended.

- An unlimited number of travel date changes apply outside of 7 days prior to departure. Transfer or cancellations within 48 hours prior to travel incur a 100% cancellation fee.
- This tour runs with a minimum of six and maximum of 28 people.
- The weather in the Northern Territory can fluctuate and be extreme. It is not unheard of for temperatures to reach over 40+ degrees Celsius in the dry season and in the evening the temperature drops dramatically. Please ensure you have checked the average temperatures for the time of year you are travelling and have packed adequate clothing.
- Only hand luggage is allowed. Wheelchairs, pushers and prams are not able to be catered for.

- A minimum moderate level of fitness is required to complete the walks.
- This itinerary may vary to adapt to seasonal changes and occasionally spots in the parks close or do not allow swimming. As safety is our top priority we plan accordingly to ensure our guests have the most fun and best experience possible while on tour.
- This terrain is not suitable for mobility-impaired travellers, wheelchairs, walkers, prams or strollers.
- Limited storage space on our vehicle, baggage kept to 1 x 5-7kg day bag per person.
- Participants are advised to make their own insurance provisions in case of unforeseen circumstances
