Discover the natural beauty of Moreton Island and the Tangalooma Island Resort, only a stone’s throw away from Brisbane. In just over an hour thanks to a scenic Moreton Bay Cruise, you’ll arrive at this idyllic paradise with a desert safari tour and helicopter flight included.
The desert safari tour is a must do activity on Moreton Island lasting 1.5 hours. Jump aboard the 4WD bus to journey to sand dunes. Get ready to participate in sand tobogganning, reaching speeds of up to 40km/hour.
Later in the day, head to the helipad for an aerial flyover of the island resort, sand hills and Tangalooma Wrecks. Wrap up the day with a cocktail or mocktail at sunset and watch the dolphin feeding program take place as the gracious creatures pop by for their nightly feed. A return cruise will deliver you back to Brisbane after a full day of adventure at Tangalooma Island Resort.

- The Desert Safari component is approximately 1.5 hours
- Tour finishes at approximately 7pm and returns back to Brisbane at approximately 8.15pm
- Tour finish times vary throughout the year according to sunset times. Return launch time is approximately 7pm in Winter, 7.30pm in Spring and Autumn and 8pm in Summer.

- A moderate fitness level is required to climb the sand dunes. In the event of wet weather, Desert Safari Tour will operate as a sightseeing tour and visit the Tangalooma Wrecks as the sand tobogganing cannot operate in wet weather conditions.
- Minimum 2 passengers required for Helicopter Tour. Single seat weight, combined seat weight and age restrictions apply.
- Dolphin viewing is subject to weather conditions and dolphin attendance.
- Standard beverage voucher entitles guests to their choice of tea, coffee, soft drink or water.
- Sunset Cocktail/Mocktail beverage voucher valid at Wheelhouse Deck and B&B’s Bar only. Cannot be exchanged for cash. Voucher valid for one (1) Cocktail from the daily Cocktail list for 18+ guests. Voucher valid for one (1) Mocktail, soft drink or water for guests under 18 years. Not transferrable
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows will result in you forfeiting your experience
