Your engaging guide Geoff shares with you his love and passion of the Top End. He brings an extensive knowledge of Darwin’s amazing history, the wildlife, landscape and nature in this beautiful region.
You are collected from your Darwin Accommodation at approximately 8am and taken on a captivating small group tour to East Point Reserve. View Darwin’s Bay across to West Point from the cliffs, here take photos of the views and learn about the various WW2 buildings that still stand at East Point Reserve.
Then on to Nightcliff Jetty, walk out over the ocean and look back at the stunning views. Visit the Parap Markets on Saturday or Nightcliff Markets on Sunday, there is ample time to grab yourself a Coffee and Brunch from the many delicious food stalls and to shop for local products and fresh produce.
We then take a relaxing drive out of Darwin City to Howard Springs Nature Park to the Natural Springs. It is an exciting experience as nature determines what we might see – the springs are home to an abundance of birds, fish, turtles and other reptiles.
Our return trip takes us via Charles Darwin National Park. Here we stop to observe the significant WW2 contribution that the Northern Territory made towards the defence of Australia in the 1940’s. We continue on up to the lookout to take a unique view of the City of Darwin City.
We then take the short trip back to your Darwin accommodation 1pm.
This is a small group tour with a maximum of 10 guests, there are plenty of photo opportunities and time to chat with Geoff, he always welcomes your questions about the region. This is a very enjoyable way to spend a weekend morning in Darwin anytime of the year.

Pick up from Darwin Accom 8am and return by 1pm.
Meal and Refreshments at Markets are at your own expense – choose from the extensive range of food stalls.
Minimum age 4+
Children aged 4, 5 or 6 can come and a booster seat will be provided. Please let us know when you book if you require a booster seat.
