Your 5-day tour in stunning North East Victoria has been put together after over 15 years of cycle touring in this region by Tour de Vines. With Easter being one of the most popular times to visit the region, join us on our special ‘Easter Weekend’ tour. Staying 2 Nights in historic Beechworth, and 2 Nights in Myrtleford. Cycle the Murray to Mountain Rail Trail exploring the gourmet region of Milawa and cycle into stunning Bright to conclude your ride. Along the way enjoy gourmet winery lunches, dinners at iconic local venues and partake in annual Easter events held at some of the local wineries, not to be missed!

Day 1 – Arrival to Beechworth
There is no cycling on your arrival day, so check into your accommodation (after 2pm) and enjoy the town. Tonight, meet your fellow travelers and guide at an included dinner at the Bridge Road Brewery.
Meals: Dinner at Bridge Road Brewery.
Day 2 – Cycling to Milawa (35km)
After a full breakfast, your first day cycling is to the food and wine hub of Milawa. Enjoy wine tasting stops at Pennyweight Winery. We then enjoy a cheese tasting at award winning Milawa Cheese Shop, after the tasting we cycle a short distance to Sam Miranda Winery for an indulgent platter style lunch overlooking the stunning King Valley.

Day 3 – Cycling to Myrtleford (43km)
Today’s cycling follows the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail into the lush greens of the Alpine Valley, on the way to charming Myrtleford. A slightly longer days’ riding with only small hill to be negotiated. A highlight is lunch at Gapsted Winery and their annual Easter event! After the festivities we cycle a short distance into Myrtleford. Our accommodation for the next 2 nights is at the Motel on Alpine. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4 – Cycling to Bright (30km)
After breakfast follow the Rail Trail along the Alpine Valley, the mountain and rural scenery is just stunning as you roll under the gaze of striking Mount Buffalo. Our first stop is a short 20-minute ride from Myrtleford. Pepo Farms Pumpkin Seed Factory is the only pumpkin seed production site in Australia. For some more Easter indulgence the chocolate coated pumpkin seeds are a must try! We then reach the stunning Ringer Reef winery our lunch stop for today! From here it’s a gorgeous cycle into Bright. Enjoy some time to explore the town, before transferring back to Myrtleford for your final night and group dinner to celebrate the ride!

Day 5 – Onward Transfers
After enjoying breakfast we will transfer together with your luggage and any purchases you have made along the way back to Beechworth for the conclusion of your tour.
