Hands-on and demonstration cooking class
At Roving Larder, we offer a unique and immersive
culinary experience that combines hands-on cooking with a delightful
dine-in wine experience. Our cooking classes are designed to be interactive and
engaging, allowing you to learn new cooking techniques and recipes while
enjoying the process. Our experienced chefs will guide you every step of
the way.
After the cooking session, you will have the opportunity to

ITINERARY
Everyone is encouraged to arrive 15 minutes prior to the
class start time. After we sign you in, we’ll help you settle in with
nibbles and a welcome drink before we get started. This is a great
way to get to know each other.
Your tutor will then lead you to the tuition area and
introduce you to the class plan, and we all get busy cooking up a
3-course menu dinner, before sitting down at the dining table eager
to eat the fruit of our labor. In great company, we raise our
glasses to our culinary accomplishment! … and raise any
remaining questions you may have too.
TECHNIQUES
During our class at Roving Larder, you will have the
opportunity to learn a variety of techniques that will enhance your culinary
skills. We will cover a range of techniques including:
1- coating. Adding
rice to seasoned oil, and stirring to combine until rice starts to become
translucent,
2- sautéing. Cooking in a frying pan to optimize caramelization of the produce and release of delicious flavors,
3- folding. Trapping air in batter to create light-textured biscuits.
4- oven baking and roasting, etc.
These techniques will help you master the art of cooking and
create delicious dishes with confidence. Our experienced instructors will guide
you through each step, providing hands-on demonstrations and personalized
instruction to ensure that you fully grasp each technique. By the end of the
class, you will have gained valuable skills that you can apply in your own
