DESCRIPTION
The organic and biodynamic Penobscot Farm is the hero behind the Watervale Hotel kitchen. It is there that the fruit, vegetables, leaves, berries and nuts are grown for the menu.
Join one of our chefs for tour of Penobscot Farm to learn how the natural system works to deliver nutrients to the plants and flavour to the food we eat. Help the Chef pick for lunch whilst being educated about regenerative farming. Also visit the Hotel kitchen herb garden before a short tour of the Watervale Hotel.
Sit at the chefs table and watch how your lunch is prepared for your ‘feed me’ menu. This starts with two snacks, bread and butter, followed by three savoury courses that collectively makes a full meal.
Conclude the experience by walking 50 metres down the road to the Watervale General Store & Providore for coffee and dessert.
