Bike Hire – Self Guided Bike AdventureEnjoy an adventure with friends or family while cycling along the stunning coastline of the most southern point of the Mornington Peninsula. Hiring an E-bike allows you to explore the secluded beaches and beautiful coastline of Point Nepean National Park.These advanced bikes will assist in cruising you through Quarantine Station and up to visit the forts at the far end of Point Nepean with ease.
Hire Details:Pick up your E-bikes from our bike shop inside Point Nepean National Park, approximately 1 km from the park entrance. Follow the signs to the Quarantine Station carpark, head towards the water and we are located on the right next to the Parks Victoria Information Centre. Once checked in you will be given a detailed explanation on how to use the bikes, what to see in the local area and a QR code to assist you with directions through the National Park. A helmet and bike lock will be provided before departure to allow you to stop to see the sights along the way, enjoying the scenery at your own pace.
Bikes available for 14 YEARS AND ABOVE – 14-16 year olds to be accompanied by an adult, these bikes can be dangerous, if used unsafely.

2 Hour DurationThe total distance is about 6km from the Quarantine Station to the last Fort at Point Nepean.
Hire Times:
We hire out every 2 hours, extended times must be requested and approve. Extensions past allocated time may incur a fee.
Inclusions:1x E-bike, 1x Helmet, 1x Bike lock and Downloadable Pt Nepean National Park map and points of interest.
What to Bring/Wear:Please bring a backpack for all your personal items – hat, camera, phone, purse/wallet, sunscreen, water, snacks etc.
Best to wear comfortable lightweight clothing for exercising/bike riding in, a hat, sunglasses and enclosed shoes are essential.
Participant Conditions:This is a self-guided experience, there is no guide with you. It is recommended that participants are very confident on a bike. if you are NOT confident, we suggest that you upgrade to our guided experience or explore the flat sections of the national park, this includes up to Observation Point and around Quarantine station.
If you haven’t used an E-bike before please inform us before departure, so we can ensure you have a good understanding of how the bike works before you depart.
