Hitting Targets is a great way to say thank you to your staff for all their hard work and to your clients for their support throughout the year. It is also a great thing to do with your family and friends during the festive season. Hitting Targets is perfect as a corporate Christmas activity whether for structured team building, learning about goal setting or just as a really fun staff or client reward.
During a Hitting Targets Christmas Session participants will acquire a new skill under the watchful eye of Suzy Balogh, Olympic and Commonwealth Gold Medallist and her qualified staff. After you have all learnt how to hit targets – you will be put through a couple of friendly shooting competitions.
Clay Target Shooting is an activity for any age, fitness and even mobility. And the fittest, strongest and most coordinated are not always the best at it.
These sessions are fun and structured at strengthening client and staff working relationships and are ideal for networking. The participants will feel empowered and exhilarated and simply have an awesomely fun end of year Christmas themed team event.
Catering Options
We can organise catering for your party, options ranging from a simple BBQ to something a little more substantial such as a full sit-down Christmas luncheon, there is even conference and meeting facilities available. With catering it can be served prior, during or after your session. During is “on range” – we can either stop shooting and have a meal (this option usually goes hand in hand with a motivational talk) or we can have it served whilst you are shooting.
Prior or afterwards can be in an outdoor BBQ area / bush setting or can be indoors in a large meals area with a fabulous views and air conditioning.
We can have options for vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, gluten free, kosher, halal etc. … just ask and the caterer can provide.
*Only “zero” alcohol drinks can be consumed before, during or in the bush setting. Alcoholic beverages can only be served in the indoor meals area … it is a Government venue.
You can add on catering options in the extras section of your booking.
Package Inclusions:
- 2 hour shooting session or an option of 1 hour (groups up to 6 people) – so you get good at shooting clays out of the sky!
- Exclusive range for just your group
- Safety briefing
- One-on-one instruction from qualified staff
- Unlimited supervised targets for the duration, usually each participant shoots around 25-50 targets in the 2 hours which is plenty for beginners
- Ammunition – from competition loads to low recoil options
- Use of Firearms – we have firearms to suit tall to tiny people (12g and .410g)
- Use of shooting equipment – earplugs, earmuffs, shooting glasses, shooting jackets
- Range fees, insurance and temporary club membership are covered
- Temporary “licensing” for unlicensed shooters
- Cold water available throughout the session
- We endeavour to take photos of each participant shooting for free download after the session
- Autographed clay target from Olympic Champ Suzy Balogh
- Each participant will receive a boxed signed clay target memento
- There will be Christmas themed special prizes given to event winners, best on range, best dressed, etc.
Christmas Party Package Schedule:
9:45am Arrive at range. Complete any paperwork, get to know each other
10:00am Commence basic shotgun and range safety, shotgun handling and firing techniques & gun selection/fitting
10:15am Practical shooting instruction and coaching – warm up practice … until the participants get the general hang of it
10:30am 2 way duel
11:00am Reindeer Pairs
11:30am “Quick Draw DUEL” – who is the fastest gun?
11:50am Presentation, photos, prizes
12:00pm Finish
