NEWCASTLE’S FIRST AND ONLY GIN WALKING TOUR – Taking gin devotees on a juniper-filled adventure to Newcastle’s best bars.
Join Newcastle Afoot on a relaxed walking tour specially curated to showcase and celebrate gin! The tour will take you to three of our favourite bars across Newcastle’s city centre for an ALL INCLUSIVE educational experience.
3.5 HOURS / 3 BARS / GIN TASTINGS + 1 GIN COCKTAIL
/ GRAZING FOOD PROVIDED / $120 PER PERSON
Visit three of our favourite bars where knowledgeable staff will guide you through gin tastings with specially selected tonics and garnishes. You will learn about the origins, production and variations of gin, and experience live demonstrations of two classic gin cocktails, selecting one to enjoy. Shared food tastings will be provided at two venues.
The tour will start in the water fountain next to The Signal Box, 155 Wharf Road, at 3:00pm sharp. Please arrive 5 minutes early so that the tour can leave on time. It is recommended that you do not drive to the tour so that you can enjoy the many gins provided throughout the afternoon.

This tour requires a minimum of 4 people to book for the tour to go ahead.

Dress Code
Neat dress and closed toed shoes are recommended. Thongs / flip flops are not allowed at our venues and high heals are not recommended for this walking tour.
Weather Information
Newcastle Afoot walking tours operate in nearly all weather conditions, so we will go ahead even if it is raining! Please check the weather on the morning of your tour and prepare appropriately – bring an umbrella and rain jacket as needed.
