Meander along the idyllic coastline of the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, exploring the calm and glassy 2km stretch of McCarrs Creek and nearby bays. If we’re lucky, we might see some local marine life. On the water we’ve seen everything from seals, dolphins, green sea turtles, little penguins and ‘smacks’ of golden jellyfish!

Stop At: Night Bay, Pittwater NSW 2108, Australia
Pull up on a secluded boat-access-only beach and take a refreshing dip. Gear up for a short bushwalk to a nearby waterfall. Prepare to see a host of native wildlife, from black-faced swamp wallabies, to echidnas, lace monitors, and a gum forest FULL of birds – namely the glossy black cockatoos who are very rare and special to see.

Stop At: Elvina Waterfalls, Ku-ring-gai Chase NSW 2084, Australia
Arrive at these secluded freshwater pools and take a break for a gourmet picnic morning tea. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the pools and learn about the significance of the site culturally, historically and presently to the residents of Elvina and Lovett Bay. Be careful not to disturb this precious, delicate environment.
