Come and enjoy a memorable evening at the Alice Springs Desert Park with an Outback BBQ Dinner followed by a Nocturnal Tour spotlighting some of Central Australia’s cutest residents.
On arrival, you will be welcomed by an expert guide.
Enjoy your gourmet outback bbq together as a group in the Alice Springs Desert Park Courtyard.
Following dinner, your guide will return with your head lamp to start your nocturnal spotlighting journey.
You will be guided through our Mulga Walk with striking Mulga trees, witchetty bushes and native grasses home to a variety of desert animals to explore the mystery of the desert at night.
Species such as bilbies, mala, bettongs, bandicoots, echidnas and bush stone curlews can be seen by spotlight. Share in the stories of these special creatures with an expert guide and learn about their natural behaviours and how some of these animals have become rare and endangered.
At the end of the tour, come away with the knowledge of these mysterious animals of the desert night.
