Your journey begins with a 90-minute scenic flight departing from Darwin, taking you over the breathtaking wetlands, rivers, and escarpments of Kakadu National Park. Marvel at the endless expanse of wilderness from above as you make your way to Davidson’s Arnhem Land Safaris, located in a remote and pristine part of the Top End.
Upon arrival, you will board an open Land Cruiser for a guided safari through stone country, monsoonal rainforest, and along the Cooper Creek floodplain. Along the way, your guide will share their knowledge of the unique flora, fauna, and cultural heritage of this extraordinary region.
The highlight of the day is a bush walk to Mount Borradaile, a sacred site that holds deep cultural significance to its traditional custodians.
Here, you’ll have the rare privilege of exploring ancient Aboriginal rock art galleries, some of the oldest and most remarkable in Australia. Your guide will interpret the art, sharing the stories and traditions that have been passed down for generations.
