Day 2 – Dent Island Golf Course
Breathtaking views. Challenging fairways.
An 18 hole championship course on its very own island. Designed by Mother Nature.
The 18-hole, par 71 Hamilton Island Golf Course is said to be one of the most challenging in the world. Designed by five time British Open winner Peter Thomson, and taking full advantage of Mother Nature’s work, the course is strung along the spectacular ridges and steep valleys of Dent Island. The course boasts a variety of obstacles for those willing to take on the challenge – wicked winds; impenetrable bushland; people have even called the 14th hole, the ‘Valley of Death’. Despite its punishing design the golf course is a ‘must do’ for both novice and professional golfers, catering for all experience levels
N.P. Enjoy your day either with your golfing partner or relax and explore the beautiful Hamilton Island with her hop on hop off buses and swim up bars.
Day 3 – Proserpine Golf Course
Proserpine Golf Course.
18 hole course with that certain allure that will appeal to both those completely new to the game, as well as more seasoned players.

Day 4 – Bowen Golf Course
Bowen Golf course is a fantastic 9 hole, 18 tee, links style seaside course that is both rewarding and challenging to golfers of all levels. The reward is just walking around this beautiful course, the challenges come with mother nature and the strong winds she provides to this area.
N.P. Enjoy a tour of the Beaches and Bays of Bowen where they made the best parts of the movie ‘Australia’.
Day 5 – Bowen – Ravenswood – Charters towers
Today we head inland to Ravenswood, a magical mining ghost town now a national trust treasure. It was once a thriving gold mining town. Today it is a beautiful presented virtual ghost town, with a couple of pubs and some small businesses. In the boom era it had over 50 pubs. Ravenswood is worth exploring, the mullock heaps, old mining shafts, chimneys, rustic machinery and historic buildings, it is an informative tour into a once thriving gold mining town.
We will enjoy lunch at the Railway Hotel, built in 1901, and hopefully be graced by the presence of some unseen locals
Enjoy Drinks and nibbles at sunset on Tower hill over looking the beautiful Charters Towers
