DESCRIPTION
Combining ancient waterfalls and charismatic wildlife, this Cairns tour will set your spirit alight as you embark on an extraordinary journey around North Queensland on an Aboriginal Cassowary Adventure with a spot of waterfall chasing and picnic lunch.
Photograph the majestic Cassowary in its natural habitat on an easy 45 minute walking tour as you listen to the stories of the Dreamtime and cultural heritage of local Indigenous tribes. Your stroll will take you along the beachfront, over trickling water streams and into lush rainforest offering a sneak peak at the Cassowary roaming the rainforest.
Next, it’s time to head to Babinda Boulders, a stunning swimming hole surrounded by vibrant rainforest. Enjoy a refreshing dip in a magical location reminiscent of a fairytale. Follow up your swim with a relaxing bushwalk to the Devil’s Pool lookout for a delicious lunch whilst learning about the Yindinji Indigenous legend that gave these beautiful pools their eerie name.

- Please note guests cannot take a selfie or a photo “with” the cassowary – you can take photos of the Cassowary from afar. Guests must always stay behind the guide and must follow all instructions from the guide

- Due to the limited space within the van, please only bring a small backpack or similar with you
