This is a truly personal experience of Aboriginal Cultural, Traditional Fishing, The Daintree Rainforest, The Daintree River Cruise & Port Douglas.
*Aboriginal Cultural Fishing Tour – Learn to throw a spear before taking a guided walk along the beach and through the Mudlfats on this traditional cultural beach day walking tour. The guides will educate you on how the evolution of the lands, whilst they hunt for fish and crabs to collect and take back to their family.
*Delicious seated lunch at the famous ‘Temptations’ Bakery Cafe, followed by a walk around the small town of Mossman exploring.
*Daintree River Crocodile and Wildlife Cruise aboard ‘SolarWhisper’ (100% solar powered boat – a truly eco experience)

Departing Cairns, Palm Cove, Trinity Beach and Port Douglas this coastal and inland drive is an amazing experience at any time of the year.
Aboriginal Cultural Beach Tour **
After our enjoyable drive north, our first tour is with the local indigenous tribe on a coastal beach walk experience, you will be introduced to the traditional fishing activity of spear throwing and handling. Practice your aim and shoot before embarking on a stroll (spear in hand) along the beach, through the mangroves and mudflats observing cultural medicine and food plants, whilst spotting the array of sealife beneath the water and hiding between the mangroves ! Enjoy a Homemade Damper on the Beach at the end of the tour.
Lunch
Lunch is at one of the norths famous bakery cafes ‘Temptations’, pick from a range of delicious burgers and sandwiches to enjoy with a soft-drink before having walk around the beautiful town of Mossman.
SolarWhisper Daintree River Cruise
After lunch, we continue our drive 30 mins north to the Daintree Rainforest (the oldest rainforest in the world), where we jump aboard ‘Solar Whisper’ the only zero emission boat in the Daintree.
We glide quietly up to crocodiles and other wildlife without scaring them or hurting their habitat, the boat is fitted with the unique “Croc Cam” to help show well camouflaged crocodiles and wildlife, this beautiful experience practices true Eco Tourism.
Note: This tour may operate in reverse due to tides at on the beach.
**The Aboriginal Fishing experience calls for a medium level of fitness as you will be walking across the soft sand Beach, through mudflats and wading through coastal waters up to knee height.
