- Open daily from 10am to 4pm. Kuranda Koala Gardens is only 40 minutes north west of Cairns. You can get to Kuranda via the Captain Cook Highway and Kennedy Highways. Drive yourself, hire a car or take a FREE Shuttle Bus from the Skyrail & Kuranda Railway Station every 15 minutes between 10am and 3pm daily
Birdworld Kuranda
- Open daily from 10am to 4pm. The attraction is conveniently located in the Kuranda Heritage Markets on Rob Veivers Drive, Kuranda. Kuranda is approximately 30 minutes from Cairns and 1 hour from Port Douglas. Drive yourself, hire a car or take a FREE Shuttle Bus from the Skyrail & Kuranda Railway Station every 15 minutes between 10am and 3pm daily
Australian Butterfly Sanctuary
- Open daily from 10am to 3pm. Australian Butterfly Sanctuary is situated at 8 Rob Veivers Drive in the heart of Kuranda Village, half an hour from Cairns. There is a FREE shuttle bus to Kuranda Heritage Markets and all attractions, departing from the Skyrail & Kuranda Railway Station every 15 minutes between 10am and 3pm daily
