Tour Structure
The Sunrise Kayak Turtle Tour is the perfect way to experience the Inner Great Barrier Reef Lagoon.
Our tours normally go for 3 hours. First off, we paddle over to Double Island Reef. This usually takes 20 – 30 minutes. First stop is our famous turtle sport, where most of the time green turtles and hawksbill turtles are there to greet us.
After this we explore the mangroves by kayak or head around to the north side of Double Island for more adventure. We then pull up on the Double Island, where we go swimming and explore the island
We finish off by paddling into Buchan’s Beach if the wind gets up, or if it’s calm we head back to Palm Cove.
