The journey begins on board a luxury coach from Cairns, setting the stage for a day filled with discovery and cultural immersion with your expert local driver guide.
Your first destination is the Cattana Wetlands, where a driver-guided walk takes you through the heart of a remnant feather palm forest. Traverse the unique landscape, absorbing the tranquil ambience as you pass by the reflective Jabiru Lake and gain insights into the unique flora and fauna that call this wetland home.

For lunch today we visit Skybury, Australia’s oldest coffee plantation and largest papaya grower. Enjoy a tasty lunch with Skybury’s signature touches including coffee & papaya elements. After lunch enjoy the stunning views across the Tablelands whilst you relax and enjoy the locally grown coffee!
Next, we journey through the Tablelands rich farming area to Emerald Creek Ice Creamery. Here you’ll enjoy a taste of 4 x different ice-cream flavours all produced on site.
In the afternoon you’ll board the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and journey from Kuranda over and through the World Heritage Listed rainforest. Enjoy spectacular views across the Barron Falls from The Edge lookout and learn about the rainforest’s evolution in the CSIRO Rainforest Interpretive Centre.
At Skyrail’s Smithfield terminal meet your coach for return journey to Cairns.
