EVENT DETAILS
Welcome to the Tweed Heads and Gold Coast Region day tour! This 7-hour action-packed tour is perfect for those who want to explore the region’s hidden gems while taste testing delicious wines, beers, rum, and gins.
We start our journey by picking you up from your hotel at 8:00 am and head straight to our first stop, the Tropical Fruit World where you can learn about tropical fruits, how they grow, and how they taste.
We then make our way to Red Earth Craft Brewery near Cudgen. Here, you can taste some of the best craft beers in the region and learn about the brewing process.
We then visit the Caldera Wildscapes where you can enjoy the natural beauty of the region and take in the breathtaking views of Mount Warning. We enjoy incredible lookouts looking over Mount Warning. It really is breathtaking!
Next it’s lunch and we will present to you a large wholesome and delish charcuterie board for lunch that features local produce and products from the local area. It’s a wonderful feast served with coffee, tea, sparkling mineral water or soft drinks.
Our next stop is the Tweed Regional Gallery and Margaret Olley Arts Centre where you can explore the art and culture of the region.
Next, we visit the Husk Rum Distillery Tumbulgum where
you can indulge in some of the finest rum and gin while enjoying the
stunning views of the Caldera Coast.You can also learn about the
distillation process and the history of rum-making in Australia.
After our cultural experience, we visit the quaint village of Chillingham, Rous River where you can relax and take in the beautiful scenery.
The tour does not contain a lot of walking. Sometimes you may be required to walk up to 400 meters.
We will return you to your hotel at 3 pm, but sometimes we are having so much fun that we run an extra bonus hour late therefore ain for a return to your hotel of 3pm – 4pm.
