DESCRIPTION
North Queensland holds a significance to the Kuku Yalanji people. Explore the world’s oldest rainforest and discover traditional hunting techniques first hand with a local Aboriginal guide and on this half-day cultural tour from Port Douglas. Learn how plants were used as food and medicine and even try some bush tucker. You’ll also get to wander the coastline and learn how to use a spear to fish and throw boomerangs.

SIGHTSEEING TOURS
- Explores the region further north, crossing the Daintree River by ferry and reaching Cape Tribulation – renowned as “where the rainforest meets the reef”, stopping for guided walks and a swim in a freshwater creek.
CULTURAL TOURS
- Explores the region from Daintree Village south, primarily around Mossman, including Mossman Gorge or a freshwater stream and Cooya Beach or other coastal environment. Tour includes a walk along the coastline with spears and learning the traditional hunting techniques.
