AN AFFORDABLE CRUISE TO ROUND ISLAND
When fully guided tours are not that appealing and you rather do things your terms, a transfer to Round Island is the best way to unwind on your trip to Hervey Bay.
Take a short 15min cruise ride from the Great Sandy Straits Marina Terminal to the beautiful hidden gem Round Island. No itineraries, no schedules. The cruise will drop you off to what will feel like your own private island, where you can relax on the beach and swim in clear waters.
Pack a picnic lunch, take a fishing rod, or perhaps a good book. At low tide, you can gently walk the reef (reef shoes are recommended, available at our office at the marina). If you have kids, here there is plenty of room to run, jump and explore.

Departure point: Great Sandy Straits Marina Terminal, Shop 6/17 Buccaneer Dr, Urangan QLD 4655 (opposite Cafe Balaena).
What to bring? – water bottle and your favourite drinks, snacks, hat, sunglasses, camera, beach towel, book, fish rod. Whatever you need to relax!
