Next, we head to Deep Creek National Park, the largest remaining block of wildlife habitat on the Fleurieu Peninsula. As you wander through this ancient forest on a guided tour, you’ll learn about the region’s unique ecological diversity and may even spot some wildlife along the way, including Western Grey kangaroos, echidnas, and countless species of native birds.
You’re bound to have worked up quite an appetite from the morning’s adventures, so we will settle into the peaceful surrounds of Deep Creek forest for a gourmet picnic lunch. Feast on some of the region’s best local produce, nestled amongst nature.
