DESCRIPTION
Description
A short 60-minute drive north of Adelaide, the Barossa Valley offers stunning landscapes of farms, orchards, and wineries. Known for its Mediterranean climate the area produces grape varietals such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz along with sensational alternate varieties.
We visit some important and interesting sites as we make our way into the Barossa. Spend a relaxed day touring through the beautiful landscapes, maybe sampling some of the top-quality local cuisine or some of the famous wines produced in this world-renowned region.
We also call into the wonderful Maggie Beer Farm Shop where you can view the extensive range of products, make some purchases or have your photo taken in the kitchen used in the filming of the Cook and the Chef.
There will be time to visit Angaston, a delightful little village of beauty, architecture and rich history and there are many quality stores and eateries, so you may like to source your lunch here or we can travel over to Tanunda where you can stroll along the 2km main street with over 40 cafes, pubs or restaurants to choose from.
You can either design your own day out indulging in your favourite food and wine options or have us guide you along the way. Small group private touring is our speciality so contact us to create your next touring experience.
