Mount Lofty Summit, the majestic peak of the Mount Lofty Ranges in the Adelaide Hills, provides spectacular panoramic views across Adelaide’s city skyline to the coast. Each year more than 350,000 people visit the peak which rises more than 710 metres above sea level.
From the summit you can follow the popular walk down to Waterfall Gully, join the Heysen Trail or stroll along a walking trail through native bushland to Cleland Wildlife Park.

Historic Bridgewater Mill
Set in the charming town of Bridgewater in the rambling scenery of the Adelaide Hills, this old mill dates back to 1860. John Dunn, a mill engineer from Devonshire, built the mill. He built a number of flour mills throughout Australia, but the Bridgewater Mill is by far his most famous.
Situated on Mount Barker Road, the mill boasts an impressive working 11 metre waterwheel. Dunn chose this particular spot due to the high level of traffic that passed through the area.

With Captain Proud Paddle Boat Cruises you can sit back, relax and enjoy the heritage atmosphere on-board the Captain Proud Paddle Boat as you cruise along the mighty River Murray, while being served delicious food and refreshments in the comfortable dining room or open deck areas.

Afternoon Hahndorf Stop Over

A heritage listed town, Hahndorf’s steep history and character lends itself to a picturesque and interesting village to discover. Stroll down the iconic main street and explore heritage German buildings, bakeries, pubs and cafes that line the bustling leafy street. Enjoy a traditional German feast at the Hahndorf Inn and wander through beautiful galleries and shops offering everything from traditional sweets and local produce to indigenous artwork and German cuckoo clocks. Pick your own strawberries from the iconic Beerenberg Farm, taste award-winning cheeses at Udder Delights or venture in to one of the many cellar doors including The Lane Vineyard and Hahndorf Hill Winery.
