This full day experience combines morning hikes,
breathtaking views and waterfalls with culinary delights and produce that is
iconic to South Australia. Spend the morning immersing in the breathtaking
landscape that is Morialta National Park on a guided hike, enjoy a relaxed
lunch with a chef’s shared menu at the famous Penfolds Winery Magill Estate
Kitchen and finish the day with a wander through Adelaide Botanic Garden and
the National Wine Centre.
Just 30 minutes from the city you can reconnect with nature in
one of Adelaide’s most scenic National Parks. Be amazed
by the breath-taking landscape of Morialta, as you follow your guide
around the trails, witness an abundance of native flora and wildlife around
the remarkable rock faces, gorges and seasonal waterfalls. The trails are perfect for beginners and experienced bushwalkers
alike.
As the trails come to an end, it’s time to relax and
reflect on your adventures as we whisk you down the road to the iconic Penfolds
Magill Estate*. Here you will sit down and enjoy a chef’s shared menu with
paired wine at the relaxing Magill Estate Kitchen.
Following lunch, you will head to Adelaide Botanic Gardens and
join an immersive cultural tour through the gardens. The tour will be led by an
Aboriginal tour guide and will give you an insight into indigenous and native
plants and listen to stories about the social history of the Aboriginal people.
To finish the day you will head to the National Wine Centre,
a prestigious institution dedicated to showcasing and celebrating Australia’s
wine industry. Here you can sit back and relax with a wine tasting or a hot
beverage.
