In the mood for a pub meal? This may be the most exciting entrance you’ve ever made at lunchtime. Treat yourself to a once-in-a-lifetime flight departing Lyndoch and heading east towards Blanchetown, following the Murray River north towards Murbko before tracking west to the historic Mt Mary Hotel in the middle of nowhere.
The hotel, which was built in 1894 and is full of old-world charm, is located 150km from the Adelaide, on the Thiele Highway between Eudunda and Morgan and we land right outside the pub! Heading inside you can enjoy a cold one or two and an amazing country pub meal of your choice from their extensive menu… lobster, steak, seafood platter or a parmy?
After lunch, re-board the helicopter for the journey back over the Barossa Ranges, popping up over Truro and the beautiful town of Angaston. The Barossa valley is a stunning green oasis. Floating down the valley floor, you finish off the afternoon by passing historic buildings before descending finally into the Hoffnungsthal Valley.
