Adelaide to Mt. Gambier 2 Day Itinerary.
Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Accommodation, 2 Course Dinner All Inclusive.
Day 1: 7am Depart Adelaide to Mount Gambier. We begin your adventure in Adelaide and set off on a scenic drive. Stop at the Bridgeport Hotel for a hearty breakfast. Meningie stop for morning tea or exploration of the town and Lake Albert. From Meningie we will travel to Kingston and enjoy a sumptuous lunch at the iconic Big Cray in Kingston. After Lunch we will explore Kingston Jetty and tour the historic lighthouse.
Arrive in Robe for a delightful afternoon tea, wine and town exploration. Savor the local wines and unwind in the charming town of Robe.
There will be time to explore the shops and arts / craft of this beautiful coastal town.
Continue to Beachport and marvel at the Pool of Siloam. Immerse yourself in history at the local museum in Millicent.
Arrive Mt Gambier. We will settle into our overnight accommodation and a 2 course dinner will be provided.
Day 2: Mount Gambier and Beyond.
After breakfast we will discover the mesmerizing Blue Lake and explore a local cave.
After time at the cave we head to Penola and visit the Mary Mackillop Centre.
Stroll through the Mary Mackillop Centre award-winning museum offers an interactive, ‘hands-on’ experience, using audio and visual storytelling to engage and inspire the young and young at heart. Visit the old school, church and Marys homestead.
Embark on a culinary journey in the Coonawarra wine region. Enjoy a wine-tasting experience and indulge in local cuisine for lunch.
Stop by Father Woods’ Red Gum Carvings for a unique cultural encounter.
Afternoon tea is provided on our return to Adelaide with a heart full of memories.
